Terms and Conditions for the Everything Morinville Business Directory

Welcome to the Everything Morinville Business Directory. By using this website, whether as a business submitting a listing or as a user browsing the directory, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

1.  General Terms

  • The Everything Morinville Business Directory serves as both an informational resource for the community and a marketing platform for local businesses.

  • Businesses may choose to list their services for free, upgrade to an enhanced listing, purchase advertisements, or sponsor blog content.

  • We strive to maintain accurate and up-to-date information, but we do not guarantee the completeness or accuracy of any listing.

  • By using this website, you acknowledge and accept these terms.

2.  Terms for Businesses Submitting Listings

2.1  Eligibility and Submission

  • Businesses must be located in Morinville or surrounding rural Sturgeon County roughly bounded by Hwy 651 to the north, Hwy 28 to the east, Hwy 37 to the south, and Hwy 44 to the west. Any exceptions are at our sole discretion.

  • A basic listing is free and includes the business name, address, phone number or email, website (can be a social media site though we don't recommend that), a brief (75 words or less) description, and a list of up to 5 products or services.

  • Businesses can submit their own listings via the online form provided.

  • All submissions must include at least one form of public contact information (website, phone number, or email address). For verification, businesses must provide both a phone number and email address, even if they choose not to display them publicly.

2.2  Listing Updates and Verification

  • Basic free listings are provided one free update per year (unless the business moves or closes).

  • Additional updates beyond the annual free update are $35 per update.

  • Businesses/organizations my also confirm the accuracy of their existing listing without changes. Once verified, their listing page will display a 'verified' stamp.

  • Update and verification requests must be submitted through the designated form on our website and confirmed via email.

2.3  Listing Management

  • We reserve the right to edit, reject, or remove any listing that contains false, misleading, or inappropriate content.

  • Listings may be updated or removed at our discretion, for example if we receive serious complaints or a business is no longer operating.

3.  Terms for Users Browsing the Directory

3.1  Informational Use

  • The directory is intended as a resource for finding local businesses, services, events, and activities

  • We do not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or availability of any business, activity, or event listed.

  • Users are responsible for verifying details before making purchases or entering agreements with listed businesses/organizations.

3.2  No Endorsement or Liability

  • Inclusion in the directory does not imply an endorsement of any business, product, service, event, or activity.

  • We are not liable for any issues, disputes, or damages that arise from interactions with businesses, organizations, events, or activities listed in the directory.

  • Users assume any risk associated with contacting or doing business with listed businesses or organizations, attending any event, or pursuing any activity.

4.  Limitations of Liability

  • We are not responsible for any errors, omissions, or outdated information in the directory.

  • We do not assume liability for any loss or damage resulting from reliance on information found in the directory.

  • In no event shall Everything Morinville be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages related to the use of this website.

5.  Privacy and Data Protection

  • Any information submitted via listing forms will be used solely for directory or event calendar purposes.

  • We will not sell, share, or distribute private contact details provided for verification purposes.

  • Our website may use cookies for analytics and user experience improvements. By using this site, you consent to our use of cookies as described in our Privacy Policy.

6.  Advertising and Sponsorship

  • Businesses have the option to purchase paid listings, advertisements, or blog sponsorships to increase visibility.

  • Sponsored content and advertisements will be clearly labeled.

  • All advertising placements are subject to approval, and we reserve the right to reject any ad that does not align with our site’s purpose.

  • We make no guarantees regarding traffic, engagement, or sales resulting from any paid promotions.

  • Refunds for advertising purchases are subject to our refund policy, if applicable.

7.  Payment Terms

  • Payments for advertising, enhanced listings, and sponsored content must be made in advance.

  • All sales are final unless otherwise stated in a separate refund policy.

  • If you believe a charge was made in error, please contact us at info@everythingmorinville.com within 10 business days of the transaction.

8. Changes to these Terms

  • We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time.

  • Any updates will be posted on this page, and continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
